Sermon Summary

The One Thing:  The Gospel Restores God's People to do Good Works

The Gospel of the Kingdom is an "already but not yet" view of revelation.  In order to live the Gospel fully in our lives, we must reject an "all-or-nothing" approach to change, for everything is truly by God's grace, not by works or our religion.  We must train ourselves to "starve the flesh" and "feed the Spirit" as these 2 natures within us is constantly at war.  So choose God, as He does Good works within our hearts.

God is inviting us to also partake in His Good Work through our hands to restore the faithful dominion over creation, sharing the Good News to more people around us.  Also the work of restoration of God's justice and mercy, and God's Kingdom "on earth as it is in heaven".  As Jesus called His disciples to make disciple-making-disciples, that is truly God's strategy to restore His Kingdom in the "already but not yet" view - through ordinary people, through each of us to be disciple-making-disciples for His Glory!

Life Application:

1) Live by Faith in the Kindom that is "already but not yet"

2) Offer your hands as acts of worship for God's Purpose
